Current Job Opportunities:

Graphic Designer/Web Developer

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the candidate designs, produces and maintains various customer facing projects for Channel Partners and Manufacturers in the high tech industry, and contributes to the overall Web communications strategy for eCoast.

Primary responsibilities

  • Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for customer websites, micro-sites, portals and HTML emails.
  • Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.
  • Build websites using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible, easy to navigate.
  • Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites, including eCoast website.
  • Provide training on maintenance and update procedures to clients who choose to take charge of their own websites.
  • Clear understanding of various Content Management Systems.
  • Contribute to the overall development of the Marketing team and of the eCoast website.
  • Knowledge of Google AdWords and other pay per click search engine programs
  • Experience with Google Analytics for measurement of company website statistics with continued improvement to drive traffic and sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in web development or other discipline related to the primary responsibilities and two to four years of experience in web design, of which a minimum of one year producing table-less, XHTML, standards-compliant cross browser, and gracefully-degrading code.
  • Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with formal training an asset.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, PHP and dynamic HTML; experience with Macromedia Flash a plus.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
  • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way with customers and internal staff.
  • Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design, and experience with web database solutions definite assets.
  • Knowledge of Social Media applications, open source apps, blogging platforms such as WordPress, an asset.

Sales Development Representative

Role:
This position is primarily responsible for generating qualified leads and setting appointments for the client's products and/or services via telephone and email. Daily tasks will include cold calling, identifying decision makers, determining customer needs, positioning features and benefits, overcoming objections and setting appointments. You will be able to work independently while contributing to a team goal for your campaign. Training is provided. This is a full-time position with competitive base, incentives, healthcare and benefits package.

Requirements:
An ideal candidate will possess a solid business sense and the ability to profile likely business and technology decision makers. 

  • Excellent telephone communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to qualify and set an appointment through strong persuasive interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional and polished communication skills: verbal and written.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Make 80-100 outbound calls. 
  • 1-2 years of inside sales experience or technology experience is preferred.
