Former Carbonite VP of Service Delivery, Richard Surace Named eCoast CEO to Drive Operational Efficiency and Alignment

Surace brings deep expertise in Sales and IT Services automation, professional services, and application and customer support for call center operations. His leadership will drive new operational efficiency, improved productivity and financial performance across eCoast.

Richard assumed the role of CEO of eCoast Services in September 2013. As CEO, Richard has played an active role, along with the senior leadership team, to redefine and execute a go-to-market strategy for eCoast’s business and marketing solutions serving the Fortune 500 within the ISV and IT industry. Richard’s primary focus is the continued improvement of day-to-day operations through the development of solid partnerships with our tenured clients along with the creation of innovative marketing service solutions that align with eCoast’s long term strategic growth plans.
Richard brings substantial global business experience and a unique depth of knowledge in Sales and IT Services automation, professional services, software and IT, virtualization, storage and storage management, data center automation, telecom, and application and customer support in sourcing and outsourcing. With extensive technology experience with successful public and private companies along with a track record of value creation within them, Richard has demonstrated a unique ability to create, manage and scale world class service operations from 100 to 12,000 very successfully. Most recently, Richard served as SVP of Service Delivery and Board Officer of Carbonite, Inc. (CARB), a backup and recovery software company with operations in over 99 countries, which he contributed directly to the strong annual revenue growth over 100+ million. Prior to Carbonite, Richard served in senior leadership roles for several software and services businesses; two on the public markets Carbonite and Stream International and two acquired by Siemens and Flextronics.
